Project
NOS (Dutch Broadcasting Foundation) is the leading public news broadcaster of The Netherlands. On special occasions, it airs dedicated live broadcasts on national television.
Client
For the live broadcast about Indonesia’s 80th Independence Anniversary, I created two historical explainer videos: one on the colonial history and independence, and one on the connection between Leiden University and Indonesian students.
In close collaboration with agency De Graphics and NOS journalists, I developed the overall style, researched historic imagery to visualize the story, and brought everything to life with design and animation. Ultimately, the videos were featured in NOS’ national live TV broadcast.
A special project, especially meaningful given my own Indonesian roots.
